Our Akins Sports Medicine team took a trip to the University of Texas at Austin, where we got to see inside several of the UT Sports Medicine facilities. Students got to learn about the ins and outs of working within a Division I athletics program and see firsthand how each team functions differently. Students also got to have a tour of the campus and have a talk about admissions for both UT in general and the athletic training program. It provided valuable experience to our students and they had a great time!
